First week on the farm!

So after our month at Poste Rojo in Nicaragua, we decided to move our home to a farm in Costa Rica called "Los Arboles". It's just outside of Guyabo, Costa Rica, very close to the northern border with Nicaragua. William and Angelica are the owners of the farm. They call it a tree farm, but honestly, the animals (goats, horse, chickens, turkey, dogs, and ducks) get probably about 99% of the attention, haha. We help out where we can, and are now working on a project building a new cob chicken coop... pictures to follow.

RAIN! When it rains in the jungle it POURS!

The turkey's days are numbered as he is the main course for this coming Thanksgiving. The Dodge's front bumper is his favorite sleeping spot.

Chef William in his ever so rustic outdoor grilling kitchen. There is no indoor oven or stove, and only a propane stove in the other outdoor kitchen, but this is the best choice for anything grilled... or messy for that matter.
