This is Joan's land. Joan is a friend of William and Angie. She has about 100 acres of land abutting a national park here, it is really stunning land. Joan has a problem though, she was having a house built by Costa Rican contractors, and when the house was supposedly "finished" the contractors up and left. As soon as the first rain storm hit the roof bowed in and leaked like any central american plumbing might... but it was the roof, so this was not OK. Joan tried to get the contractors to fix the problems, but they basically said, "tough luck" and took her money and ran. Typical here really.

Anthony is not experienced in the truck bed riding techniques. haha! Actually as I was taking a picture of him a dog came out of nowhere and scared us both.


Less developed? Or more forward thinking? These are EVERYWHERE around William and Angie's. There is also a geothermal power plant visible from their farm.
